Abby Harri is a casting director / scout. Specializing in street casting and finding new talent, she has worked on films such as Jane Schoenbrun's We’re All Going to the World’s Fair (Sundance 2021), for which she helped discover lead actor Anna Cobb; the Safdie Brothers’ Uncut Gems; Seasons 1 and 2 of HBO’s Euphoria; Riley Keough and Gina Gammell's War Pony (Cannes Camera d'Or, 2022) and Pulitzer-Prize-winning playwright Annie Baker's upcoming feature film debut (produced by Academy-Award-winner Dan Janvey, BBC Films, and A24); Jane Schoenbrun's sophomore feature I Saw the TV Glow (post-production, A24) and Savanah Leaf's first feature Earth Mama (post-production, A24).
With a non-traditional casting approach, Abby's work often involves casting "real people," and can include extensive research into specific communities - whether within a certain sect of society, a geographical area, or otherwise. This includes fiction film, documentary, TV, advertising, fashion, and new media.
